BBN
- Software: BBN SPINDLE3 (aka "Pirana")
- Convergence Layers: UDP, TCP/CL
Info on BBN DTNbone machines are on the DtnBone wiki page
Ohio University
- Software:
- ION version 2 (7 nodes via two gateways nodes)
- DTN2 RI, 1 node via an IONv2 gateway
- Convergence layers:
- ION TCPCL (DTN2 compatible) and UDP
- DTN2 TCP
- Simulated degraded link to two of the ION nodes
Comnet, TKK
- Our own implementations
- TCPCL + basic BP for Objective-C (iPhone)
- TCPCL + basic BP for Java (Android)
- Symbian implementation, new (some Nokia phones)
- DTN2 on N810s and an embedded Linux box
Folly Consulting
- DTN2 ref implementation
- New implementation of RFC5050 for Symbian S60 phones
- 'Lightweight' email application (new, written in Python)
- Convergence layer: TCP/IP only with DTN2 IP discovery
- Tests:
- Basic tests of New Symbian Bundle Proto info
- (depending on progress) tests of BSP in new Symbian implementation
- Tests of email application using PRoPHET routing protocol. (This will be used during N4C summer testing campaign)
- Equipment:
- up to 11 N810 tablet PCs running DTN2
- plus a mobile phone and an eee pc
- There will be a new DTNbone node in place acting as gateway for the mail.
Trinity College Dublin
- Tests:
custody transfer over >2 hops using ON DEMAND and discovered tcp/udp links (over as much Ad-hoc wifi between nodes as feasible at the IETF)
- Interupted bidirectional multi-hop routes to test custody (without restarting the daemon)
- Interoperability between DTN2 and as many other implementations as possible.
- Large payloads 100M, 1GB, 2GB...
Misc. Information
Example Test Procedures contains some example test procedures for running ION-to-ION, ION-to-DTN2, DTN2-to-DTN2 and DTN2-to-ION.
Example Node Configurations contains examples for setting up ION and DTN2 nodes for multi-hop tests. These were taken from an test configuration run on NASA's internal testbed.
Software
BBN SPINDLE3 version of the DTN-RI apps This version has been distangled from the rest of the DTN reference implementation codebase so it can build standalone. Also contains new apps (dtnsource and dtnsink) that provide more complete testing of the stack than dtnsend and dtnrecv, and bug fixes.
